Tasting Notes: Pours a light golden tan with one-half finger of head and sticky lacing. Citrus hops and grainy malt on the nose with hints of caramel. Pale-malt taste with a nice citric, lemon-flavored hop bite. Grapefruit and pine notes in the background. Crisp and refreshing finish with a slightly creamy mouthfeel.

What's on the bottle...

A distinct hop nose and deft balance made this pale ale an instant classic. It is aromatically complex, multi-layered and unmistakably honest. Your handy compass of "right" when exploring beer. If you could only listen to one album forever, what would it be? At least there's Mirror Pond when it comes to Pale Ales.

Warning: Beer of the month clubs and mass producers promise "craft" beer…deliver less-than-stellar drinking experience.

Sadly, it's true…
98% of breweries in America are now labeled as "craft beer" producers, a term that's quickly losing its meaning. But most are still hiding dull, lifeless beer behind clever names and fancy labels.
